Stardome trip

My Stardome trip

                             By Jasmine

On Tuesday the 23rd of August we had a very very SUPERCALIFAGALISTICEXPALLIDOUSUS trip we went to….. drumroll please ………STARDOME.

Stardome is a Space museum where you can learn more about space and, lucky for us (Room 8,9 and 10/Room 1,2,3 and 4), we went to Stardome.

First we went to room 10. Next we got into our groups. After that we went to the car park. We found our groups and then we went to the bus. We hopped in the bus like bunnies. When we got on the bus we started to sing some songs But it didn’t really work out so we decided to stop.

Soon when we got there we went to the park and played on the playground. But I felt a little hungry so I got off the playground (by the way I went on the train, swing, lookout, merrygoround and the slide not at the same time though) and went to the bench with my group and started to eat. Once we finished eating we went to the toilet to drain all of our water that we drank earlier.

When every group was ready we went to the entrance and even the entrance was so cool I thought I was already in Stardome. When we got inside we sat on the seats and just sat there. Then this familiar guy came from the back door. I recognized him from somewhere. I remember he was here last year and he was teaching me about space

Anyways, so where were we …  Oh yeah.

So we went in to this sort of dark room. Soon we saw the guy that is familiar to me, so he started to talk about space. It was very cool he said a very interesting fact (for me): Pluto is not a planet, in fact it is even smaller than Australia. So we learnt more about space and when we finished we did a little quiz about space. My group finished and we got 6 / 7 pretty good but I think next time we could make a little more teamwork.

After we did the quiz we went in to this circle shape thing. It kinda felt like we were in a planet but sadly we were not in one.But then I was gut-dropped – it was so so so so so infinity cool it was so cool I could stay in there for my whole life.

We learnt about matariki and how close it is to Mars.  When we finished our lesson we watched a cool movie but it gave me a headache. So I fell asleep and when we finished the whole thing we went outside to wait for the bus.

I went on the first bus that arrived and I played with my group: I spy,2 cars, 1 house and played the last one to talk.We got back to class and played soccer and rugby.  THE END  Thank you for listening.
